Before you enter the museum, there are two tractors outside the front doors. You are able to sit on the tractors. There is a John Deere tractor and an Allis Chalmers tractor.
The John Deere Model A Tractor were manufactured between 1934 to 1952. The distinctive green and yellow coloring is trademarked. The model A was the first true row-crop tractor. This model led to the production of entire lines of two-cylinder tractors. Today, the Model A is a collectors item.
The orange Allis Chalmers tractor Model CA was manufactured between 1950 to 1958. Allis Chalmers introduced this model to compete with other modern tractors of its time in the 20 horsepower range. The Model CA had 23 hp, four-speed transmission, clutch system, and power shift wheels.
